Vietnam coronavirus cases jump to 29

Vietnam’s health ministry confirmed 9 additional cases, bringing the the total number of infections to 29. The new cases include eight foreign tourists who arrived in the capital Hanoi from London on Monday. 

Following a swift response, authorities were able to treat the first 16 patients who tested positive for the virus. The ministry said 101 suspected cases were put in quarantine while an additional 23,228 people were being monitored.
